SITE DEVELOPMENT

Learning to build your own sites will make building your business much easier. My Spin Your Web video training system will show you how to proudly build your own sites quickly.

It's very difficult to say what the most vital component of a successful internet business really is, but an autoresponder service ranks right at the top. It is critical that you build an email list from the visitors to your website. Building a solid database of those that have expressed an interest in your site and/or products will benefit your business in many ways. Setting up an autoresponder system will build that list for you on autopilot.

Some of the benefits include;

Reduces advertising costs because at least for the time being, email correspondence is FREE.

Allows you to develop a relationship with your customers and prospective customers.

Boost sales by following up with your visitors.

Conduct customer surveys.

Make product announcements.

Deliver product purchases automatically.

Promote affiliate products.

The list of benefits could be continued for another couple of pages, and are only limited by your creativeness. Suffice it to say that if you are serious about your online business, then you want to setup an autoresponder.

How Do You Acquire an Autoresponder?

There a couple of ways you can operate an autoresponder system. You can buy a script and run it on your own server. This requires a bit more of an advanced technical knowledge to pull off. I would never consider doing this myself and do not suggest you attempt it either.

Aside from the technical aspects of setting it up and keeping it running, you also have to consider the deliverability rates of the emails you send to your list. How many SPAM complaints will it take before your hosting service starts to hassle you and eventually close your account? When you have your autoresponder running on your own server, that is the risk you are taking.

As far as I am concerned there is really only one option and that is to use the services of a third party who makes autoresponders their business. These companies know the business and can do a much better job of getting our mail through to the recipients than we ever could.

There are many autoresponder providers out there but there is only one that I endorse and personally use myself, and that is a company named aWeber Communications. As far as I am concerned they are the leader in this area and I have been an aWeber user for over three years. I have built several lists without any complications whatsoever.

As of the writing of this section of this site, you can start your own autoresponder system for as little as $19.95 a month at aWeber. That will allow you to build a list of 10,000 people. Then the charge is an additional $9.95 per month for each additional 10,000 people you add to that account.

While this may sound like a great expense to the budget minded marketers, it really is an expense that you are going to have to incur if you want to build an online business. My aWeber bill is one that I actually look forward to increasing every month because that means that my various lists are growing and that is a good thing.

So don't try to second guess this and cut corners. Go setup an aWeber account now. It will cost you twenty bucks, but it will be the best twenty bucks you have spent in a very long time. I guarantee it!
