LIST BUILDING COURSE

List Building for Rookies

This is a full blown course that I produced for people that are new to list building. This course takes you from absolute ground zero and teaches you everything you need to know to start a list of your own. Check it out.

SE NUKE SOFTWARE

SE Nuke is the most powerful social marketing application ever made. This software will change the way you market business on the web. I say this with absolutely zero hype intended.

The package includes a first class article spinner and submitter built into it. It also performs automated account creation, bookmarking, video submission, rss feed submissions and more. You can learn more and take it for a free trial run at the SENuke site.

HOSTING PACKAGES

For reliable hosting I rely on Host Gator. Attentive service and fast connection speeds are critical. I get that and more from Host Gator. At less than ten bucks a month, the price is right too!

AUTORESPONDER

If you are serious about having an internet business, then an autoresponder system is a must have. There is only one company I am willing to depend on, and that is Aweber. They have never let me down.

SITE DEVELOPMENT

One of the business models that internet marketers utilize is to acquire products with resell rights of some sort, and setup their own sites to market the product. Resell rights can be found for physical products but that is normally a much more complicated arrangement. The focus of this information will be rights associated with informational products in the form of ebooks, audio and/or video. The product may include one or all of the aforementioned formats.

These resell products are easy to find. Simply conduct a search for resell rights or private label rights and you will turn up many sites with various offerings. You might also add a keyword to the search for more specific results. For example a search of seo+resell rights will produce products that you may resell on the topic of search engine optimization.

Before we get to far along, let's cover the various types of resell rights you will normally encounter;

Basic Resell Rights - You are allowed to sell the product, but you cannot pass those resell rights on to your buyer. You may only sell them the product.

Master Resell Rights - You may sell the product and you may also pass on the rights to resell the product to your buyer.

Many times product owners will offer the product for sale as a stand alone product, and then offer resell rights of that product as an option for an additional fee.

Private Label Rights - Generally these types of rights allow you to make changes to the product.  You may often add your name as the author, change the content, split it up into multiple pieces of content etc. The most liberal of Private Label Rights are referred to as Unrestricted Private Label Rights. This means you are free to use the product any way you decide.

Basic and Master Resell Rights often come with restrictions such as; minimum price that the product can be resold, where the product can be sold, prohibition of modifying the content etc. Every resell type product should come with a "resell rights" agreement. This agreement will specify and restrictions of the resell arrangement.

Before purchasing a resell product you will want to check to see how many resell licenses are being sold. Of course a smaller quantity is more desirable. If many others are marketing the same product it will result in more competition and probably a real decrease in value of the product being offered.

Based on my experience, you are not likely to get rich selling resell products. If you are going to use them, I would only recommend that you purchase PLR type products and that you change them in order to create a somewhat unique product out of it.

Some of the ways you can make these changes is to redesign the cover graphics, add or subtract to the content. For example you can take a 30 page book and blow it up into a 75 page book by expounding on detail of the ideas in the book. You can also add graphics to the content. Perhaps you could turn an ebook into an audio product. Perhaps it would translate into a screen capture video course. Many products will come to you with a pre-built site to use in your marketing of the product. I suggest that you build an original, unique website to sell the product. You don't want to be sending your traffic to a site that has 200 clones out there. If you do, the chances will be good that your site visitors will have already seen it before.

While you are not likely to get rich purchasing resell products, creating them can be very lucrative. Here is one scenario...

You produce an ebook about trading Forex. In the guide you place your affiliate links to various Forex products that you recommend. You package the book up with basic resell rights and you sell 200 resell licenses to willing marketers. The new license holders will now go out and market the book. Every time they make a sale they get to keep 100% of the proceeds since the purchased the rights from you.

Since they purchased Basic Resell Rights, they were not allowed to change the content of your book. Therefore all of your affiliate links are still in the book and you will be paid an affiliate commission anytime a reader of that book purchases one of the products that you recommended.

Better yet, give away your product with resell rights and allow anybody to resell it, use it as a bonus to one of their own products, or even use it as an enticement in their list building efforts. This is a very good method to make your book go semi-viral and you will have more affiliate links out there than you can count!
